Thread trimmer attachment studied for Pfaff 343-712/02, created to simplify the particolar basting works for which the machine is usally employed, and to reduce its costs.
Equiped with EFKA DC electronic motor.
- Low speed (about 300 r.p.m.) for stitch bastings.
- High speed (about 950 r.p.m.) that shortens the time required for sewing normal bastings, with a 4/5 cm. long stitch.
The advantages are: thread saving, shortening of the manifacturing time, good quality of the bastings. It must also be remembered that the pieces to be sewn needs to be placed on the arm of the machine only once. Each time the thread is cutted, the piece of clothing shall just be moved to the next position to sew.
To cut the threads the operator simply has press slightly the machine footboard, and the thread trimmer will start, leaving the upper thread (needle), the lower thread (bobbin) and the threads on the piece of clothing all of the same lenghth (5 cm.). To stop the machine and starting the mechanism the footboard can also be pressed while the machine is working.
The use of basting arm-machine, equipped with the component "Rasafilo CG 4000", does not require any particular operator training.
